How is life post-Ghajini? You are flooded with endorsements now.
Life is pretty much the same. As for endorsements, I have been doing ads since the age of 14. So far, I have done around 50 ads including Parachute, BPL Mobile, Mirinda and Colgate. Most of the commercials you are seeing now have been signed much before Ghajini happened.

Kareena Kapoor (born on September 21, 1980) is an Indian film actress appearing in Bollywood films. Born into the Kapoor film family, she made her acting debut with Refugee (2000), for which she won a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award. 

In 2001, Kapoor received her first commercial success with her second release, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai and later appeared in Karan Johar’s melodrama Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, which became India’s top-grossing film in the overseas market that year and her biggest commercial success to date.

Tisca Chopra, who was recently seen in Nandita Das’s directorial debut ‘Firaaq’, attended a charity event organised by Guild of Service, an NGO run by Mohini Giri, where she interacted with Sheila Dixit, CM of Delhi. The occasion was marked by a Jewellery auction for the widows of Vrindavan and several gorgeous women, including Tisca Chopra donned the jewellery by Ras Vihar.

Tisca next film is a comedy with Sharat Kataria (Dialogue writer of Bheja Fry).  Tisca is also working with the National Knowledge Commission (NKC) with Sam Pitroda on educational reforms across India to bring the Indian education system into an exciting new format.  -

There is good news for all Asin fans. After being seen in Ghajini, she would be seen in Dasavatharam which releases next Friday. Though the Tamil version was released worldwide in June last year, the dubbed Hindi version is arriving after a gap of nearly a year.

Interestingly, Asin has a double role to play in the film. She plays a woman from both the 12th century as well as the 21st century. Incidentally, in both the roles, she plays a Brahmin woman. The film’s USP is Kamal Hassan who plays as many as ten different roles in the film. Another female lead in the film is Mallika Sherawat.

Neil Nitin Mukesh and Katrina Kaif looked so gora together on screen in Kabir Khan’s New York that one of them had to tone down the fairness-quotient.

And naturally, the chosen one was Neil. He had to use tanned makeup in the film. Laughs Neil, “All three of us Katrina, John and I are light complexioned. John had a nice dark tan during the shooting in Philadelphia. But it was a fight between me and Katrina on who was looking fairer. She used to accuse me of looking fairer than her.”

Eventually, Neil had to settle for a tan to tone down his ‘fairness’. And not just in New York. He also had to tan himself in Aa Dekhen Zara for totally opposite reasons. Bipasha being dusky, Neil had to tone down his fair skin to match his co-star’s complexion.

Its basic general knowledge that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. But today’s Birthday boy is one ’son’ who will never set; instead he has set many guidelines for others to follow and attain success! We are indeed talking about the one and only Vishal Devgan aka Ajay Devgan, the illustrious son of the ace fight master Veeru Devgan.

Even though he was a ’star-son’, Ajay chose to ‘earn’ his launch in the form of his debut film Phool Aur Kaante, a film that gave Bollywood a superstar for all seasons and all reasons! What followed after this were an array of films like Jigar, Divya Shakti, Platform, Dilwale, Naajayaz, Ishq, Pyaar Tho Hona Hi Tha, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Golmaal to name a few. Ajay Devgan is indeed one of the very few actors in Bollywood today who has (well deservedly) earned his position as a romantic hero as well as an action man!

Kasamh Se concluded this month on Zee TV and even though Prachi Desai was no longer with the show when it wrapped up, the original Bani still misses her debut show.

Prachi Desai said, “I still miss the days of shoot of Kasamh Se and how can I forget this serial because of this serial I got fame and name. I still miss Sankraman area and after leaving Kasamh Se also I used to see the episodes.”
