Following the trend of inviting the cover dominating celeb to unveil their latest issue, Filmfare had Bipasha coming in for a brief appearance. The new issue of Filmfare has Bips striking quiet a raunchy pose on the cover.

While interacting the with media, Bipasha admitted she found Ranbir Kapoor hottest amongst men. Well we wonder if she has stopped finding boyfriend John Abraham hot anymore! The shooting for ‘All The Best- Fun Begins’ produced by Ajay Devgan Films and directed by Rohit Shetty commenced on 27th March in Mumbai. The next stint will be in Lonavala followed by a marathon schedule in Goa and South Africa.

After Salaam-E-Ishq and Golmaal Returns, Jashn is the biggest film of Anjana Sukhani’s career. The pretty actor says that when it comes to a performance oriented role, it could well be the biggest ever till date. Well, if the graph of her character that she plays in Jashn indeed turns out to be even better than that of her character as Anil Kapoor’s love interest in Salaam-E-Ishq, then it could well turn out to be true.

“No wonder, I can stand up and say that Jashn is very close to my heart”, says Anjana fondly, “There is a definite reason behind me saying that. Being so involved with the film for last few months, I have come to realize that I can relate to it at numerous junctures. Yes, there are some moments where the character is not the real me but then there are some strong emotional chords that Jashn touches, which makes it all so believable.”

This may come as a surprise to many, but FAST & FURIOUS fared much better than 8 x 10 TASVEER at several screens. However, the film that overshadowed both 8 x 10 TASVEER and FAST & FURIOUS is Mahesh Manjrekar’s Marathi film ME SHIVAJIRAJE BHOSALE BOLTOY. The film has taken Maharashtra by storm, it’s running to packed houses everywhere.

Whom are we fooling?

It’s fashionable to highlight film reviewers’ ratings in newspaper ads of movies. But, of late, a new trend seems to be catching up. The critics’ ratings have been replaced with audience ratings. Last week, the ads of EK - THE POWER OF ONE highlighted “5 stars” - the verdict of the audiences, while the makers of 8 x 10 TASVEER have gone a step ahead. The ad states: “5 stars - audience verdict. 90% opening on Day 1.” The interesting part is, even the tall claims failed to lure audiences to cinema halls.

Frameboxx organizes 1st Frameflixx Awards

Filmmaking talent is now been recognized at the grass root levels. Mumbai-based animation education major Frameboxx Animation & Visual Effects recently held the first edition of its annual short-film awards, Frameflixx.

The awards saw participation from animation, visual effects and short films made by the institute’s students from all across India. Present on the occasion were Rajesh Turakhia, Managing Director, Frameboxx Animation & Visual Effects, Naveen Gupta, Executive Director & CEO and Manmohan Shetty along with several industry stalwarts.
