Jahan Bloch plays the Lead Actress in the film as Roshni, a television news channel reporter. She plays the daughter of Nana Patekar and Dimple Kapadia. Roshni acts as a pivot of the revolution and gets along her determined college mates Vishal, Uday and Goldie. The story takes all of them on a mission to rid the present society of the evils, a revolution for cleaning the system. She is always ready to fight for the cause of common man. She portrays a girl who wants to reform the society.

Kambakkht Ishq, is aptly described as Kambakkht Hit, and has lived up to its title; with the film garnering a whooping Rs. 100 crores in the first week itself. Akshay, however, insists that he is happy being a clown and not the king of box-office. "I am happy being in the circus ring rather than the King’s Throne. I would never want to take the weight of the King’s crown," he said.
