‘The Flag’ ….preview

The Flag is an exciting story set up against the backdrop of our struggle for freedom. It is a period film depicting the period between 1930 to 1940. This is a time when the British suppressed the poor Indian villagers and cunningly took the men to fight the World War II. The film showcases a series of incidents that created a sense of fury amongst the villagers and how there was total retaliation towards the white skin. Then there was a long struggle to remove the British Flag- a symbol of the immorality to them.

The music of the movie has been given by Lalit Pandit and lyrics penned by Sameer. Sanjay Masoom has done the screenplay and dialogues. The choreography is done by Harshall Vitthal and the action by Sham Kaushal. The story and direction is by Sajeev Balath. The movie is presented by Silver Screen Pictures Ltd and is being produced by George Mathew Kattukaran.

Kaashh… Mere Hote - preview

Kaashh…Mere Hote! is a musical thriller film, with the main storyline of the film being teenage attraction is not love and infatuation is only one sided of it. Krish Kapoor (Kumar Saahil) is a well known fashion photographer, who is in love with his wife Radhika (Sneha Ullal). The duo together make up a very happy couple. While Radhika works in a departmental store, Krish gets an assignment to shoot in Mauritius for a magazine. For this, he shoots on the beaches and roads of Mauritius, where Piya (Sana Khan) first sees him and falls in love. Later on, Krish gets Karnal Batra’s (Rajesh Khanna) bungalow on rent for a few months. Knowing this makes Piya always want to meet him and stay with him. For Piya, it is the perfect opportunity to seduce him, while she tells her romantic angle to all her friends in college. Her ultimate goal is that she wants to make love with him in her dreams. However her conviction is so great that Piya will kill everyone and anyone who will come in her way of love. If that’s not all, she will also resort to black magic to get her love. Not much later one after another murders begin to occur in town. And this case is given to be solved by I.G. Danda (Johnny Lever), who is, as usual, a very funny character in the film.

What will be climax of the film?
Will Piya get her one sided love?

17 films old already down South, this Southern siren is now ready to hit it big in Bollywood, come December 25, with her first Hindi film Ghajini opposite Aamir Khan. Asin must now be added to the growing list of South Indian actresses who’ve risen to Bollywood prominence. For a long time, though, it really looked like she wouldn’t make it. But is there more to Asin than the all-south Indian image she has created on-screen? Until recently, the actress was virtually unknown in the all-important Indian movie industry. Now she’s one of its biggest stars or is she? It’s hoped the movie will do for Asin what Namastey London did for Katrina Kaif. But like Kats, Asin is remaining resolutely down to earth about becoming Bollywood’s latest leading lady. In this Bollywood.tv exclusive the beauty gets ready to talk to our London correspondent and Harrow Observer columnist Devansh Patel about why being a part of Ghajini was a piece of cake, why she would love to treat Aamir with some idli and sambhar, how perfect is the ‘perfectionist’ Aamir Khan and will her film come as a welcome relief for the grieving India.

We all know it’s not ‘a sin’ to work with Aamir Khan. It’s a boon and a blessing in disguise instead. What say?
(Laughs out loud) Nice way to put it huh? I’ve been an ardent admirer of Aamir Khan’s movies, his acting and him as a person, ever since I was a kid, it is a dream come true. To work with him in my first Hindi venture is fabulous. I must say that he is a very supportive co-star, encouraging and very down to earth. That is the high point of his personality. He is passionate about his work which we all know and to see him in an avtaar like this in Ghajini is inspiring.

"Mukesh Bhatt jokes that I am like a Tirupati ka naayi" - Pritam

His hot innings continue with Jannat, Race, Kismat Konnection, Singh Is Kinng and the year’s biggest grosser, Golmaal Returns. With over 12 big films to come, the Pritam record plays on…
Golmaal Returns is a huge hit, but the best song Tu saala was not in the film. How do you feel when such things happen?

Obviously I feel very bad, because such a song’s life is finished and it goes waste. But I am lucky that the song still became popular. Rohit (Shetty) wanted to film this song in a big way with the use of Motion Picture Control technology as multiple Kareena Kapoors haunt Ajay Devgan when he goes to a pub after one of their fights. But for various reasons, they scrapped the song.

Dharmendra planning a health farm and resort at Lonavala

B-town’s handsomest hunk completes an eventful run of 50 years in films this year and on his 73rd birthday, he’s busy planning a health farm and resort at Lonavala and also essaying an adorable role in Cheers! with his darling son Bobby Deol.

Fans dote on him for his He-man image with a heart of gold, the film industry knows him for his legendary hospitality and for me, Dharmendra is the ultimate symbol of romance - with his dashing looks and guileless smile he turns all three of us - my granny, my mom and I - weak in the knees. “He’s a dilwala”, “He’s so becomingly innocent” and of course “He’s a Greek god” are some compliments lavished on him.
