Saif and Kareena to perform together again after Sharjah performance
Saifeena have been all over the place, be it under the guise of shooting, events, award ceremonies or just stage shows. Recently, they created a riot with their ensemble performance on August 21 at Sharjah for ‘Jashan 2008′.
The overwhelming response to Saif and Kareena’s show has inspired organizers, the Morani Brothers, to organize a series of shows across Europe. Mohammed Morani said, “The Sharjah show was extremely successful. We are now organizing a series of shows across Europe and the Middle East. Saif and Kareena have a huge fan following in these places. People throng to the stadium to watch them especially after the success of Race and Jab We Met. Madhavan shoots in an aircraft for Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots
The first shooting schedule of Vinod Chopra Films next venture 3 Idiots commenced on 26th August 2008 in Mumbai. The first scene was shot in an aircraft with R. Madhavan. The next schedule which is 20-day long will be held at Ladakh wherein lead pair Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor will participate.
3 Idiots is the next edition from the maverick director of hit Munnabhai series, Rajkumar Hirani, and toplines Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, for the first time together. The film also features R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.
Shankar Mahadevan - Bad reviews is nothing new for us
Rock On releases at theaters tomorrow. While there is reasonable curiosity to see a film which is the first ever when it comes to telling the story of a bona fide rock band, the film also has Farhan Akhtar as a special attraction who makes his debut as a lead actor as well as a singer. What has turned Rock On further special is the fact that it’s music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has become popular amongst the urban masses even though some of the initial reviews were far more complimentary.
“But when have we been really bothered by the reviews”, questions Shankar Mahadevan of the famous trio which is enjoying all the accolades that are still coming in for the music of Taare Zameen Par. Continuing, Shankar reasons, “Especially when we are confident about the music that we have created, we do not get hassled if some people do not like the kind of sound that we incorporate.”

Sameera Reddy endorses Rivaaz

After her appearance as judge on ‘Kabhi Kabhi Pyaar Kabhi Kabhi Yaar’ on Sony Television; Sameera Reddy has hit the jack pot as the Brand Ambassador for Gitanjali’s new launched brand Rivaaz, which is a new line of Gold CZ jewelry that inscribes the company’s name in to the cubic zirconium market.
Rivaaz apparently, is targeted to give the customers a stimulating and reasonable choice within Gold along with the assurance and legacy of the Gitanjali Group. Sameera claims that Rivaaz is a gorgeous and available in a myriad of designs with both traditional and a personal touch.
Esha Deol replaced by Sagarika Ghatge in Raftaar
Among the whole bunch of girls who acted in Chak De India alongside SRK, probably the one who managed to draw maximum eyeballs was Sagarika Ghatge. Sagarika, who played the gutsy character of Preeti Sabarwal, also emerged as the highest goal-scorer in the film.
Now it seems Sagarika has managed to strike a goal in her real life too. The actress has been signed by Percept Picture Company for their film Raftaar (working title). The film is directed by noted ad film maker Shamin Desai. Sagarika will be paired opposite serial-kisser Emraan Hashmi in the film. What is interesting is the fact that the role which Sagarika has been signed for was to be originally played by Esha Deol.
